Lamplighters Chapter of EGA: October 2025

We were all welcomed to the meeting including three guests. Each introduced themselves and told of their stitching journey. Hopefully they will become members.

Joan reminder all present of our participation in the Food Pantry. Please remember to bring your canned goods to each meeting.

Robin reported we have 32 members. A new roster will be sent with the October Meeting Newsletter. Robin explained how the guests can become members and will provide them a copy of the October Newsletter which has the EGA website.

Members were reminded to bring in their stitched Christmas ornaments for the Woodstown Library Tree. Members will meet to decorate the tree prior to the Annual Woodstown Candelight Tour which will be the first Friday in December.

Starting this meeting, Pat L will bring in a selection of charts and kits for sale. Since we no longer have an avenue to sell charts, etc. on eBay, Pat will be a selection each month for sale. Bring your dollars! I am sure there will be bargains. Any money raised will help with our room rental fees.

Those working on Love & Laughter the GCC piece from Denise Harrington Pratt will meet on final time. All who took the class are asked to bring their piece, whether is it finished or not, to the November meeting for Show & Share.

Robin is working on dates for hosting a stitch in Delaware’s America’s Tapestry. She will send an email to all members once dates have been selected.

This month’s program was in introduction to Hardanger. Those who signed up each received their kits. We worked on the cross stitch. For the November meeting, all the kloster blocks, cross stitch and blanket stitch should be completed. Bring sharp, pointy scissors to the meeting. We will be cutting!!
