We had a teacher scheduled for this meeting so we quickly covered our EGA Chapter Business.
President Joan T. was absent and our meeting was lead by Marian S.

  • Notices of the meeting were sent to SJ Times and the Franklinville Cable Channel
  • Robin has the questionnaire from the Country Stitchers Floss Tube Channel to showcase Lamplighters on an upcoming flosstube.  She will work with Joan to complete and submit.
  • All  are welcomed to meet for lunch at noon on the first Friday of December and then to decorate the tree at the Woodstown Library
  • MAR Baskets.   Marian delivered the Lamplighter's Basket to the regional meeting  for the auction in the spring.   We are basket #24.   The listing of all available baskets will be in the next MAR newsletter.   Chances are available from Marian S.  $1 each or 6 for $5.
  • Our Annual Holiday Exchange is at the next monthly meeting.   Bring a holiday snack to share.   Members are asked to bring their own beverages.   We will have an ornament exchange at the meeting.

CLASS and TRUNK Show
We welcomed Susan Gonzales and her daughter Jody of Susan Gonzales Designs for a candy cane class.    There were so EZ PZ that everyone who participated was able to complete all three candy canes in a half hour.  It was a good thing they had extra kits as some who had not signed up wanted to get in on the fun.   Sue and Jody were excellent teachers.   They brought a small trunk show and we enjoyed shopping!   We enjoyed the class with them and look forward to having them back maybe as early as sometime in 2020.

Sue ad Jody set up a very lovely display.

The color and quality of the wools they work with is second to none.

Several of us signed up for the December Poinsettia Class

Look at the adorable candy canes we made.    Sue must have spent hours prepping our kits.   They were thoughtfully put together and it was easy for everyone to complete the class.

Sorry for the delay in posting the November meeting.   Between home renovs, travel, babysitting and the holidays it got lost in the mix.  Mea culpa.
